83rd Annual Conference - Canceled

The Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association (IAPA) is closely monitoring events related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus outbreak to assess what impact it will have on association operations, as well as the industry as a whole. In order to uphold our commitment to our industry, our community, and the Illinois economy, the decisions has been made to cancel the 83rd Annual Conference scheduled for March 16 – 17, 2020 in Springfield, IL.

While there have been no cases of COVID-19 in Sangamon County, IAPA believes that limiting the potential spread and exposure of COVID-19 by social distancing will assist public health departments to manage the impact in Illinois. Although each year we look forward with great anticipation to the learning, interactions and networking at our annual conference, IAPA does not want to jeopardize members or guests ability to begin working on projects this upcoming construction season.

IAPA staff will be developing a plan to allow speakers to present via webinar over the next several weeks. In addition, IAPA is considering hosting a fall event to replace the 83rd Annual Meeting.

We look forward to a safe and productive Illinois road construction season, and we're ready to get to work!
